RNN Model to Predict Airline Passenger Counts

Problem Statement

To develop a Simple RNN model using the AirTrafficMovement dataset to predict the next month's total passenger traffic based on the previous 12 months' passenger counts.

Dataset Description

The AirTrafficMovement dataset contains monthly airport traffic information related to aircraft movements, passenger traffic, air mail, and cargo movement.

For this practical:

• Dataset: AirTrafficMovement
• Time variable: Month
• Target variable: Passenger_Total
• Input sequence: Previous 12 months
• Prediction: Next month's total passenger count
• Problem type: Time-Series Forecasting / Regression
• Model: Simple RNN
